The ALTC Exchange provides learning and teaching resources and facilities to support professional communication and collaboration across the higher education sector.

The following services are provided:

  • Online collaborative spaces with tools to support project work
  • Web 2.0 style professional networking facilities
  • A repository of resources about learning and teaching
  • Tools to enable members to contribute ideas and resources
  • Search and discovery functions including the ability to search other key learning resources websites and databases
  • A personalised area in which to save resources and search results

Released in May 2008, the ALTC Exchange is an integral part of the Council's strategy for disseminating and embedding change and development in learning and teaching. The ALTC Exchange was developed by the ALTC's Resource Identification Network scheme.

Membership is open to academics, managers, and leaders of learning and teaching in Australian higher education.

The ALTC Exchange has an extensive range of online user support resources to assist all users. The ALTC also provides a program of customised support to ALTC-funded groups and individuals.
